Barcelona’s history of signing Isco goes back to 2013 when the player left Malaga but choose to pen down a deal with Barca’s rival Real Madrid. He scored 11 goals in 53 official games in his first season in Real Madrid. In spite of continuing to score regularly when featured, Isco received limited opportunities in the first team due to the 4–3–3 formation not being suited for his style which former Real Madrid boss Ancelotti stated that it was “a temporary problem”.

Isco is yet to sign a new contract with Real Madrid and has seen his playing time dwindle over the past season. Barcelona sees this as an excellent opportunity to Sign the 24-year-old Spanish footballer. In the latest interest of signing the player Barcelona have decided to offer him a signing bonus of around €20 million the moment his Real Madrid contract expires.

The report comes from ‘El Pais’ journalist Diego Torres who told RAC1 that the player has already received the offer.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have a nasty history of interclub players’ switching between the two teams. To avoid all the conflicts, Real Madrid have come up with an ‘anti-Barcelona’s clause in their contracts.
But there is not enough evidence to prove that this is true. In any case, Barcelona is looking to avoid all of that by signing him once his contract is up thereby nullifying the ‘Anti-Barcelona’ clause as Isco would be a free agent.

In a news posted by The Express it has also been stated that Real Madrid is plotting a swap deal offering Isco to Manchester City in order to sign Sergio Aguero. In one way or the other Isco has all its options open for the transfer window.
