Manchester United agrees Wout Weghorst loan offer

Manchester United agreed a deal to sign Netherlands striker Wout Weghorst on loan for the rest of the season.

The 30-year-old Burnley forward will also have his medical on Friday.

The Dutchman spent the first half of the season at Besiktas but is now heading to Manchester for a medical before the move can be completed.

The move allows United manager Erik ten Hag to bring in his fellow Dutchman to fill the vacancy he has for a striker in his squad.

United have agreed a €3 million fee to sign the striker on a short-term deal until the end of the season. The money will be split between Weghorst’s parent club Burnley and Besiktas, where he has been on loan since the summer.
