Real Madrid are planning to table a bid for former Barcelona superstar Cesc Fabregas in the summer transfer window.
It is believed that Fabregas is facing a hard time in Chelsea this season. The 29-year-old Spain international has often been left on the bench under Antonio Conte, with N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic often preferred in his place.
Rumours have also been registered that his non existence from the squad follows the fact that he does not suit Conte’s style of play and Chelsea could be ready to cash in on him in the summer transfer window.
In the wake of not finding a decent pace in the playing eleven in Chelsea there are many clubs approaching to sign Fabregas. AC Milan and West Ham have been linked with moves to rescue him from his Stamford Bridge misery.
Real Madrid has also shown a strong will to sign Fabregas in the summer transfer window. With the emergence of Marco Asensio, both Isco and James Rodriguez have been reduced to bit-part roles at Real Madrid and with one or both of them set to leave the Bernabeu this summer, the arrival of Fabregas in the summer transfer window would prove to be perfect for Zidane.
It is said Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to sign a playmaker with ‘Barcelona DNA’.
