Mamadou Sakho will not challenge the result of his positive drug test which means he will face a lengthy suspension from the game.

The 26 years old Liverpool defender Sakho is understood to have returned a positive test for a fat-burning substance after last month’s Europa League game at Manchester United on March 17. The France international has accepted the findings to be true and did not request that a B sample was examined before the Uefa deadline on Tuesday.
Liverpool too have refused to comment on the defender’s decision and said it is a private matter but suggested that Sakho will remain unavailable for selection while Uefa’s investigation continues.
The former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher last weekend told Sky Sports, Sakho had “let himself and the club down very badly.”
“There are serious questions to be asked of him,” he added. “It’s a nightmare for the player because he was becoming really important for Liverpool.”
