MONTREAL: Lewis Hamilton has won the Canadian Grand Prix 2015 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Montreal on Sunday. This is the same circuit where he won his first grand prix in 2007 and also it is his fourth victory of the year though the race was regarded as the worst race of recent times which were held in Montreal.

Hamilton team partner Nico Roseberg finished the race behind him and grab the second spot on the podium. This is the 6th win of the seven races for Mercedes this year. Michael Douglas and Al Pacino and many more stars were present at the circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Hamilton led from the pole to the checkered flag with no threat from anyone except his Mercedes teammate Roseberg.

Asked on the podium if this result made up for Monaco, Hamilton said: “Did I need this? I think so. My first win, in 2007, was here so to be back up here [on the top step of the podium] is historic.”

Valtteri Bottas was third in the race; Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastien Vettel were fourth and fifth.
