Sevilla keeping an eye on Juan Mata

Sevilla is thinking of making a transfer move for United’s Juan Mata in January

Juan Mata was bought by Manchester United from Chelsea with the biggest Premier League deals of the previous winter transfer window. Manchester had spent £37.1 million for him in the 2013-2014 winter transfer window to bring him to Old Trafford.

Now with less than 3 weeks left for 2015 winter transfer window the Spanish international is linked with Sevilla. Recent speculation and news posted by DailyMirror claims Sevilla is keeping an eye on Juan Mata’s situation at Manchester United with a view to making a January move for him.

Mata has been in and out of the side under Louis van Gaal. Although United claims to be reluctant to let Mata go in January, but with the ongoing interest of Sevilla for him, could be open to the prospect of a potential sale next summer.

Mata scored United’s winner in their 2-1 win over Stoke, but had spent three games as a sub before starting against Hull and keeping his place.
