Scotland v Israel: Tierney , Armstrong & Christie out of tournament after positive Covid test

According to BBC reports Stuart Armstrong, Kieran Tierney and Ryan Christie will all miss Euro 2020 semi-final against Israel after being tested positive for Covid-19.

Armstrong was the only member of the team who returned with confirmed positive test for COVID. But Gunner defender Tierney and Celtic attacker Christie must self-isolate for 14 days after being identified as close contacts.

They all will also miss Nations League ties with Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Celtic confirmed they are in talk with the Scottish government to “fully understand the self-isolation procedures” for those who test negative.And Christie says he cannot believe that he has “done anything wrong”, having followed social distancing rules.

Clarke said: “We have lost six players from the squad. It is up to us to make the nation smile tomorrow night. We know we have the nation behind us.”
