Ronaldo missed the first leg of the Champions league against Manchester City, which ended 0-0, because of a hamstring strain. He has not featured since 20 April and also missed last two La Liga games.

He has shown his presence on training ground after recovering from a hamstring injury on Monday for the first time since being injured on 20 April.

The Portuguese international has netted 47 goals in all competitions this season and is the leading scorer in the Champions League with 16 goals. There is no question that his presence will increase the chances of Real Madrid booking their berth in the finals of Champions League.

On the other hand Real’s striker Karim Benzema also continued his recovery from a hamstring injury and has reported doing running exercises on Monday but dubious of joining his team against Manchester City on Wednesday.
