Leicester’s forward Barnes headlines in a shock summer transfer target for champions Liverpool

Liverpool has been linked with host of players for upcoming transfer window.

The most shocking of them is Harvey Barnes, the 22-year-old, who has only become a first-team regular this season in Brendan Rodgers’ side.

He has impressed Jurgen Klopp with his energy and forceful running. The 22-year-old has scored seven goals and recorded nine assists for the Foxes from 41 games this season.

The Reds boss Klopp also believes there is plenty to come from the England Under-21 international.

Liverpool have already lost Adam Lallana who leaves the club on a free transfer next week, and is set to sign a three-year deal with Brighton.

After losing Adam Lallana, jurgen Klopp is set to strengthen his squad and wants to add a forward to his squad

For Klopp, Barnes would fit for the frontline role and the club’s model of buying young players.

Moreover he would help boost the club’s options further up the field as he could slot in on the left side of the Reds’ three-man attack, as well as across the midfield.
