Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid, signs a 100 million Euros deal with Juventus.

Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Italian champions Juventus for Real Madrid on a four year contract for 100 million euros ($117.34 million), finishing his nine year spell loaded with trophies and objectives at the Spanish goliaths.

I only have feelings for huge thanks for this club, for the fans and for this city. But I think the time has come to open a new stage in my life…. I ask everyone, and especially our supporters, to please understand meCristiano Ronaldo

The two European monsters on Tuesday reported the eagerly awaited arrangement for the five times world player of the year who joined Real from Manchester United in 2008 for a then world record of 80 million pounds ($106 million).

“Real Madrid announces that it has agreed to transfer Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus FC due to the will and desire expressed by the player,” the European champions said.

Cristiano, your goals, your numbers and everything we’ve won together speak for themselves. You have earned a special place in the history of Real MadridSergio Ramos, Real Madrid skipper.

The marking of the most recent Ballon D’Or victor and best scorer in the champion’s class for the last six seasons speaks to a noteworthy overthrow for Juve, who have had a stranglehold on the Italian title since 2012 yet have not won Europe’s best prize since 1996.

Reports rose a year ago that Ronaldo was again angry with the club’s leader Florentino Perez over a compensation debate and was determined to leaving, in spite of the fact that he remained on to lead the club to a third progressive champions association triumph.

We had a great time together in Madrid, I can’t wait to get back to work with you, and Today is a special day for @ Juventus FCSemi Khedira, Juventus midfielder.
