Belgium Enters Quarter-finals, will play against Argentina

A Match between Belgium and USA was played at Arena Fonte Nova, Salvador on 1st july 2014. Belgium, who has shown stunning efforts, puts the victory on its side after defeating USA for 2-1.

Belgium has penetrated USA’s defense much time but fail to put any goal till 90 minutes of the game. On the contrary USA who was totally suppressed by Belgium hasn’t scored till 90 minutes either.

Belgium took the lead after  De Bruyne’s lovely finish sends the ball in the far corner of USA’s net. Romelu Lukaku made it two for Belgium after scoring at 105th minute. It was in the second half of the extra time where USA fought back and scored at 107th minute after Jullian Green super finish.

The score reckoned 2-1 after full time giving Belgium a superb victory. Belgium with its great effort made their way in quarterfinals and will play against Argentina.
