West Indies tour of India 2014

West Indies will play his 1st One Day against India on 8th October 2014. The tour consists of three Tests matches, five One Day International matches and one Twenty20 International match. The first of five ODIs against India is on October 8 in Kochi. This will be west indie’s second tour to India in as many years. It was in India for Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell test series in November 2013, and lost both tests as well as one day series. After the West Indies series India will travel to Australia for a four-test series, followed by triangular ODI series including England as the third country.

Chris Gayle will miss the series because he is injured and is recovering from injury and may be fit by the start of Tests against India in November 2014. The other highlight is the return of Jerome Taylor, who’s last ODI was in 2010.

ODIs: 8 Oct – Kochi, 11 Oct – Vishakhapatnam, 14 Oct – Cuttack, 17 Oct – Kolkata, 20 Oct – Dharamshala

T20: 22 Oct – Delhi

Tests: 30 Oct-3 Nov – Hyderabad, 7-11 Nov – Bangalore, 15-19 Nov – Ahmedabad
