Sunil Narine: First maiden super over in T20 match

West Indies spinner Sunil Narine has created history by becoming the first bowler in the history of T20 cricket to bowl a maiden wicket Super Over in a match between Red Steel and Guyana Amazon Warriors, the Carribean Premier League on Thursday.

The scores were tied after the end of the full 20 overs with Red Steel 118/8 and Guyana Amazon Warriors 118/9. The Warriors batted first in super over and set a target of 12 runs to win from 6 balls.

 In the Super Over, Warriors scored 11/1. In reply, Narine bowled four dot balls (all played and missed) in a row to wicketkeeper-batsman Nicolas Pooran and was caught at long-off by Martin Guptill on the fifth delivery. The sixth and final ball was played and missed by Ross Taylor.

Narine, performance is also appreciated by many, on twitter. His IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders also congratulated him for the achievement.
