Pakistan attains third position in ICC Test rankings after gathering four points in the series against Sri Lanka

Pakistan, who had begun the series with 97 points, bagged four rating points from 2-1 series win against Sri Lanka.

With these four points Pakistan superseded England, India and New Zealand to get to no. 3 with 101 clear points. Pakistan now leads New Zealand by two points while trailing second-placed Australia by ten.

India and England having same points are at mid of the table holding 5th and 6th position respectively. England will break away and jump to second place if they win the Ashes by 3-0 or a better margin. South Africa still has its flag furling on the top of the table with 130 points.
