India captain MS Dhoni revealed his retirement plan on his 33rd birthday. Yes, in an interview to Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) official website bcci.tv today, Dhoni has spelled out what he is going to do after quitting cricket. Dhoni, who always collect stumps after winning matches, has a got a huge collections of stumps. When he was asked whether he would have a dedicated room in his house, he said,” that’s my retirement plan”.

The wicketkeeper-batsman plans to build a separate room to display his collections of various stumps which he has collected after winning the matches in different parts of the world but however he admitted that he does not remember which one is from which tournament.

“The good thing is that I do collect a lot of stumps but the bad one is I don’t put a mark as to which match they were from. So, after I retire I’ll watch the videos of all my matches, look closely at the sponsors logos on the stumps and figure out which match a stump belongs to. It will be my post-cricket pass time!,” he said.

This is one of Dhoni’s retirement plans. However, he is yet to announce till how long he will continue to play cricket.
