Saina Nehwal Enters Finals of Australian Open

Saina Nehwal advances into the final of Australia Open Super Series by beating Yihan Wang of China in the women’s singles event here on Saturday.

Saina Nehwal is now one step away from her maiden title of the season after beating World No. 2 Yihan Wang of China, 21-8, 21-12 in just over half an hour in the semi-finals.

Saina will take on World No. 12 Sun Yu of China, who defeated third seed Li Xuerui, in the Finals. Saina, who bagged the Australian Open in 2014, has a 5-1 head-to-head record against Sun Yu.

The victory received as a big boost for Saina Nehwal ahead of Rio Olympics which is about to start from 5^th of August 2016.
