Lee Chong Wei has shocked Thai badminton fans by skipping exhibition badminton match which was originally scheduled against two times Olympics Champion Lin Dan of China.
Lee denied from playing as he don’t wanted any conflict with the Badminton World Federation for breaching its rules. Lee Chong Wei is temporarily suspended by the BWF from competing in any international tournaments after his urine sample showed traces of banned substance dexamethasone at the World Championships in August .

The BWF confirmed that Lee could not play in any international matches during the ban but could demonstrate his technical skills. But he withdrew his name after seeing BWF secretary general Thomas Lund post which stated that “a short technical skill session can, of course, be with a player feeding Lee Chong Wei“.

Meanwhile, Lee Chong Wei is to sue Razif Sidek for his allegation on Lee had been using banned substances for a long time and also claimed that Badminton Association Malaysia officials were also aware of it. Lee Said,”My lawyer sent him a letter a few days ago and we will settle this matter in court.”

He added ,”I can’t let this go because he defamed me. As a former shuttler, I’m sure he knew better than to make false allegations against me, especially during these trying times. He has hurt not only me, but the entire country with his comments.

World No. 1 shuttler Lee Chong Wei will have to wait for doping test hearing as it will take place on Dec 8.
